We take the protection of your privacy seriously. Your data are handled confidentially and in accordance with the applicable data-protection legislation.
The services offered on this website are aimed exclusively at people in Switzerland.
This website can generally be used without your having to register or provide any information. 3 Personal Data and the Purposes for Which we Process Them
If you send us inquiries via our contact form, the information you provide on the form, including the contact data you provide therein (your telephone number is obligatory, your first name, surname and e-mail address are optional), is stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and handling any follow-up questions. The same applies to any other contact with us, as a consequence of which not only the content of the message but also your e-mail address, telephone number, or – in the case of a chat interaction – your IP address is processed. Initial inquiries are responded to by the Stiftung Kinderschutz Schweiz (Swiss Child Protection Foundation), which may transfer them to third parties or for advice from the Guido Fluri Foundation.
We do not pass on your data to third parties without your explicit consent.
If you make a donation to us, we process your name, address, and e-mail address so we can send you confirmation. Information sent to us by your bank, especially regarding the size of the donation, is also processed by us and our bank.
We process personal data for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or purposes, or as required by law. When no further processing is required, personal data is anonymized or deleted.
4 Rights of Data Subjects
The people whose data we process have a number of rights. These include the right of information and the rights to rectification, deletion, and blocking of processed personal data.
The people whose data we process may withdraw their granted consent at any time with future effect, and may refuse the processing of their personal data at any time.
The people whose data we process also have the right to complain to a responsible supervisory authority. The supervisory authority responsible for data protection in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
5 Data Security
We take suitable technical and organizational measures to ensure data security in a manner appropriate to the relevant risk. Access to our website is via an encrypted pathway (SSL/TSL and especially using the Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure, HTTPS). However, we cannot guarantee absolute data security. We are therefore pointing out that data transmission over the internet may be impacted by security loopholes. It is impossible to fully protect such data against access by third parties.
